Our goal is to deliver you quality books. We pack them carefully to ensure no damage, however if the weather does not support door drop delivery on your scheduled day, your delivery will be postponed until the following delivery day.  For example, if you placed an order on Monday, it will be delivered on Wednesday.  If on Wednesday it’s raining or there’s a snowstorm, your delivery will automatically be rescheduled for Sunday.   

• If you don’t want to wait for the next delivery day, you can contact us and arrange a same-day pickup.

No, there is no minimum purchase amount for in-town delivery.

Definitely not. For our customers in apartment buildings, we will call you for building entry during your scheduled delivery time. If we're not able to get into the building to leave your order at your door, your delivery will be rescheduled to the next delivery day.

To make sure your order is packed with care, we require 1-2 business days to pack and ship. For larger items, we ask that you allow 3-4 business days. Orders placed on Friday or over the weekend will ship on the next business day.

Yes! All of our shipping material is eco-friendly, compostable, and plastic-free. This is the same for both in-town delivery and items shipped everywhere else in Canada.

Yes, please! Bloomin’ Sally’s would love to treasure hunt for you and we welcome book recommendations. Simply contact us and we’ll do the rest.

The newer and cleaner your book is, the more you’ll get for it. A book read once and carefully, showing no signs of damage, could be considered in Excellent condition, whereas a well-loved book with dog-eared pages and a damaged spine could be considered Good, resulting in a lower trade value.

We offer three options for trade-in, with donations to the Wild Bloom collection providing maximum return. Check out our Trade a Book page for a detailed breakdown of the options available.

Yes, there are books that we won’t accept for trade-in at Bloomin’ Sally’s including Advanced Reader Copies, ex-library books and books that smell of must or smoke of any kind. For a full list of books not acceptable for trade-in, check out our Trade a Book page.

You're in luck! Bloomin' Sally's will never enter or ask to enter your residential space.

• When you trade books with us, we ask that your books be boxed or bagged for tailgate book trading.

All sales are final. Once your order is delivered, we provide a delivery photo to confirm it has arrived safely.

• Once delivery is confirmed, we are no longer responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

At this time, Bloomin’ Sally’s Used Books operates solely online, and we deliver books right to your door. To be the first to be notified of any changes, sign up for our monthly mailing list.

No, you won’t get a lot of annoying emails from Bloomin’ Sally’s. When you sign up for our mailing list you’ll receive a monthly (and only monthly), email letting you know that new titles have been added to our collection. A few times a year, you might also receive VIP discount codes and other special offers available only to mailing list members. This is one list you’ll want to be on.
